Overview of Machine Parts & Devices

1). Power Supply & Switch

  • Power Connector : is located on the lower right machine for supplying the unit 220VAC/50Hz power supply, and the provision of two portable external jacks
  • Red Power Switch : is the main switch for the whole unit of power. Each time the machine is being turned OFF and back ON again, the power supply should be waited for about 1 minute to be ON again in order to prevent display failure and other malfunctions.

 

2). Compressed Air connection and Switch

  • Compressed Air Switch : The Red knob is the switch of compressed air, it is to use to turn ON or OFF the machine’s compressed air. Rotated 90 degree clockwise is to OFF, and turned 90 degree anti-clockwise to turn it ON.
  • Compressed Air Connection : For the unit to provide compressed air, the pressure in the range of 4-6.5 kg/cm2, the level of pressure can be achieved by the adjusting knob located above the filter.

 

3). Nozzle & Caliper

  • Nozzle : It is for guiding the wire movement, a necessary to stabilize the spreading conditions for better winding results.
  • Caliper : It is for measuring the position installation of nozzle in the nozzle base/station.

 

4). Tensioner

It is for controlling winding tightness, a necessary device for stable winding.

 

5). Wire Spool cover and Stand

  • Spool Cover – It is for covering the wire spool, avoid the dust and make sure the wire be loaded and passing smooth during winding.
  • Tensioner Stand – It provides easy loading and safe storage.

 

6). Nozzle Beam

7). Main Spindles

It is for driving bobbin rotations. There are different spec of servo motor equipped, depending on the product applications, using the matching servo motor 1.5KW ~ 3kW.

The speed of winding can be set in the program according to product commissioning requirements. Maximum speed lies on a ratio of motors and pully drives.

 

8). Wire Clamping Device

It is for clamping & breaking wire on winding operations, it can be changed by mechanical clamp adjustment to adjust the clamping position of excessive wire (front or back/ left or right position).

Depending on user requirements, we provide two clamping device options, cylinders or servo for user applications.

 

9). Taping Device

It applies for the end of winding process, the need for a taping process. Number of taping turns can be set. We can provide users with the pressure wheel, arm-type and clip-taping mechanism for selections.

 

10). Twisting Device (Skeiner)

To prevent fine wire break when around the pins, the device skeins multi-stand wire and twist, then wraps around the pins.

Stranding length can be adjusted according to actual wrapped pin length, number of stand and turns can be freely set in the program according to the actual applications.

SWITCH BUTTONS

  • START : After the machine being Reset, if it is in “Continuous” operating mode, by pressing the “start” button, the machine will execute the current program and run continuously.

After the machine being Reset, if it is in “Single step” operating mode, by pressing the “start” button, the machine will execute the step of current program.

 

  • STOP : When the machine is in a normal operating state, press the “Stop” button, it will pause the machine work, press “Start” button to resume the normal operation.

When the machine is in a normal operation, continuously press the “Stop” button twice, it will pause the machine working, at this time, it will need to be “Reset” button to restart the machine.

When the button indicator light, it means the machine is in a pause state (stopped).

When the button indicator is off, the machine is in running state.

 

  • RESET : When the machine is on a ready state, its power and air pressure connected properly.

By pressing the “Reset” button, it will bring the machine back to the home position.

When the button light is ON, indicating the machine reset is complete, it is at the home position.

When the button light is not lit, reset the machine fails, the moving parts or the cylinder is not in the home position.

 

  • EMERGENCY BUTTON : When the machine is abnormal or moving parts not running properly, press the “emergency stop” button immediately to cut off the servo power of machine.

After troubleshooting, turn clockwise direction of the “Emergency button” knob to resume power.

 

Overview of Mechanical Adjustment

1). Installation & Removal of the Winding Jig

When installing, use one hand to hold position of jig front with its direction of the winding jig on fixed bolt upward, align spindle limited slot position, then use other hand to push the spindles sleeve to the inside end, and then the winding jig mounted on the spindle.

When removing, one hand holds the front end of the winding jig, the other hand pushes the spindle sleeve to inside end, then pull out the winding jig.

 

2). Installation & Adjustment of Loading/ Unloading Fixture

Firstly, turn off the pressure switch, loosen three locking screws on feeding board, put bobbins into loading chute, then manually push feeding mechanism to forefront, manually adjust on the front board, make it to locate to just be into the bobbin. This step is required synchronously with

After done, securely tighten screws.

 

3). Installation & Adjustment of Unloading Jig

The unloading jig aligned to the installing hole of unloading mounting base or installing hole of unloading mount fixture of wire guide rod, fine tune unloading jig position (left, right, up, down), so unloading jig groove centerline exactly coincides with the winding fixture centerline and ensure unloading jig can successfully & nicely load bobbins. Finally secure the locking screws.

 

4). Excessive Wire Clamping Mechanism Adjustment

  • The adjustment is usually based on product applications, by adjusting clamping position on wire remainder to meet the requirements in the winding process of rotating space and saving material.

As shown on the above picture, release locking screw (left/right), depending on the product winding requirements, manually adjust the left and right over the clamp mechanism to the correct position, then tighten left/right locking screw.

 

  • The adjustment is usually made depending on the bobbin structure/shape, by adjusting the clamping position on wire remainder to meet the needs of wire anchoring position on pin terminal.

As shown on the above picture, first loosen the vertical hold screws, then adjust it by fine tune up & down hand-wheel to desire position, finally secure vertical locking screws.

 

  • The adjustment is usually made because of bobbin outer dimensions, winding jig length, and wire anchoring process requirements etc, by adjusting clamping wire remainder position (front/back)to meet desire of anchoring position.

As shown on the above picture, first loosen the locking screw, and then adjust the clamping mechanism by rotating the round wheel-hand, back or forth to the desire clamping position of wire remainder or the right position of wire anchoring, finally lock screw securely.

Installation and Adjustment of Tensioner

As picture shown, insert the Column mounting post to the tensioner base in stand, the hanging position of tension bar is to parallel after installation.

Thread the wire as shown on above picture, special type of tensioner threading is slightly different, please contact us for assistance if any query.

Adjustment methods and precautions:

  1. The best working conditions is to adjust the tension rod and main frame to parallel, users may also need other proper working angle, but the tension rod must not be over horizontal level position during operations.
  2. During operations, allowing only ascending tension adjustment, not allowed descending tension to avoid wire break, if descending tension requires, it must stop the machine and adjust it.
  3. During the adjustment, if there is tension pulsing phenomenon, stops the machine, turns clockwise of the tension knob to maximum tension, then slowly return to the desired tension and readjust process.
  4. after adjustment and start operations, the working angle of tension rod must be same with idle state, if not, readjust the tension, to avoid incorrect tension causes abnormal wear of components and reduce the life of tensioner.

Safety Rules related to maintenance work
  1. When cleaning the machine or peripheral devices, please stop machine completely.
  2. After duty, please make sure all parts of the state machine are in the best state.
  3. After maintenance works, be sure to install back the removed cover and door securely, then start operating the machine.
  4. When replacing electrical parts, power must be cut off, and use only the same parts or the same size, specifications of parts.
  5. When replacing with a new fuse, make sure the same specifications is met and used. (Do not use a fuse with higher rated current; it will damage the machine and its components)
  6. Please follow the amount and cycle etc on manual to deliver lubrication to the machine’s parts. Only use a neutral detergent for cleaning, so not use alcohol, benzene or thinner.
  7. Motors and electrical devices work are preferably handled by an electrical technician.
